Reddit comments that don’t get you banned

What you’ll learn

Replying in the right thread at the right time is the fastest way to get seen on Reddit. Pitching is the fastest way to get banned. The Comments tab helps you do the first without the second.

Step by step

1. Open Today → Comment → Reddit. PublishLoud has found fresh threads where people are asking for help.
2. Start with the best bet: each thread shows a fit score, how fresh it is and how many replies it already has.
3. Read the drafted reply. It answers the question first. Where the subreddit allows it, + Mention product rewrites it to name your product.
4. Check the subreddit tag. “No promo” means no product mention and no link.
5. Hit Copy & open, paste the reply in the thread, and post it as yourself.

Tips

• Early replies get the most eyes. Threads with few replies are worth more.
• Lead with your experience, not your product. One helpful reply beats five pitches.
